In this ecosystem, we already have many useful day-to-day tools—especially for those of us who support genuine decentralisation: solutions that deliberately step outside the “norm,” such as alternatives to corporate apps.

There are international platforms like Airbnb for renting houses and apartments, and various kinds of marketplaces too. But what I’m looking for is something built directly on the Nostr protocol: a platform that lets users list and search for rental flats, leveraging Nostr’s native capabilities.

Ideally, it would allow users to:

- Zap listings,

- Make payments in sats directly through the app,

- And, where possible, finalise rental agreements within the same interface (I’m aware at least one Nostr-based app already offers this functionality).

Does anyone know of an existing project like this—or have suggestions on how to approach building one?
