Blimey. I was eager to find a way to create shared spreadsheets with all the essential features of Nostr. So far, I’ve only come across one client that seems suitable for this purpose (Sheetstr). However, it hasn’t been ideal, as I haven’t been able to achieve reliable synchronization with my collaborator.
Do you have any recommendations for another client that might work better?

In this ecosystem, we already have many useful day-to-day tools—especially for those of us who support genuine decentralisation: solutions that deliberately step outside the “norm,” such as alternatives to corporate apps.
There are international platforms like Airbnb for renting houses and apartments, and various kinds of marketplaces too. But what I’m looking for is something built directly on the Nostr protocol: a platform that lets users list and search for rental flats, leveraging Nostr’s native capabilities.
Ideally, it would allow users to:
- Zap listings,
- Make payments in sats directly through the app,
- And, where possible, finalise rental agreements within the same interface (I’m aware at least one Nostr-based app already offers this functionality).
Does anyone know of an existing project like this—or have suggestions on how to approach building one?

I ended up pretty disappointed with #Librewolf today.
I’d been using it for almost a year without any real issues, but today—before restarting my system—I figured I’d update the app first. As usual, I went and grabbed the update manually. But this time, right after installing it, the system popped up a message saying the “app was damaged” and suggested I just delete it.
I clicked “OK”… and accidentally overwrote all my bookmarks. Just like that—gone! That really knocked the wind out of me.
The weird part? Even when I tried an older version, the same error came back. And to make things stranger, when I switched to #FireDragon v12.6.1—a similar fork—I got exactly the same message: “Program damaged”, with only two choices: quit or trash it.
Fed up with all this hassle, I made a radical call: I ditched both browsers—both Mozilla-based.
I gave DuckDuckGo a go, mainly because it’s minimal and doesn’t rely on extensions like Firefox. But it didn’t quite work for my Nostr setup.
Finally, I stumbled on #Zen Browser: an open-source browser, also Mozilla-based, but refreshingly different from the usual suspects. It’s got a few features I personally find unnecessary, but if you’re after something fresh, privacy-focused, and still compatible with extensions, it’s definitely worth a shot!
For now, I’m sticking with it and seeing how it holds up over time.
Very interesting project: “Contrails”:
It effectively highlights where entire societies are truly being disadvantaged.
It’s definitely worth taking a closer look.

In this sense, I suggest using FreeFrom, or even Nostrmo, especially since you can also use your preferred LN-Wallet. The photos always render well regardless. As for Primal, I’ve used it a couple of times, and the only thing it proved "useful" for was noticing that I had gained a few more followers. 😉
