Government employees are now free to find PRODUCTIVE ways to contribute to society rather than sucking the govmnts teat
Also loss of talent and instituional knowledge
The labour pool usually moves around, but when private companies are also putting in hiring freezes and closing down entire departments, yet the US jobs numbers/unemployment seems "it's stable"
Then there's some mismatch and they're lying about actual unemployment numbers.
DOGE is laying off staff as a cost cutting measure, and whether these people find work is a different story entirely.
I meant that they fire people in such a big numbers that they're about to find that they fired some people who they shouldn't have. One could thing that after they encountered this situation in Twitter a lesson could be learned. But no
