Anyone want to take a guess as to what this plant might be?

Every fall I plant seeds thinking I will remember what I planted.

Every spring I forget.

Here's my mystery plant this spring. Maybe a pepper?

Most of the peppers I've seen have more pointed leaves. But I'm am idiot, so who knows? 🤔

I think pepper plant leaves are pointer too.

And I'm the idiot who keeps planting seeds without labeling them. But this is a fun game too 🙃

Definitely not a pepper. Pepper plants don't have red stems.

Looks like something in the beet/chard family to me.

Look like it could be something in the beta family so could be chard, spinach beet, beetroot etc. If I had to guess it would be a beetroot that's trying to bolt to seed.
