Nah it’s not an all men suck day. We’re talking specifically about trolls. Trolls are defined by behavior not sex.

The biggest troll is cyborg tbh

🤣😂

I can’t believe Nostr is turning into a gender war over one person leaving ☠️💩

Reread my comment. There are female trolls too. Why the assumption that when we talk about inappropriate social behavior you’re assuming we’re only talking about men?

Sorry, air reply 🫂 100% not talking about you, I was just voicing a related thought

I fully support the fighting the trolls cause!

I’ve seen more discussion about the ‘male’ experience, the ‘female’ experience, feminism, incel culture, and harassment in one day today then I have the entire time I’ve been here

Seems accurate based on my feed too.

Thank you, glad there is hope for us 🫂

It’s April. What’s the topic women are complaining about this month

This whole discussion is revealing the inherent risk of a truly uncensorable protocol.

Moderation is different from censorship, but they both operate in similar ways. Turns out, people need some sort of moderation to exist in an online space.

If the space isn't moderated centrally, then blocking and muting tools need to be effective and easy to use.

Moderation will be a key focus of the next wave of Nostr development.

The ability to self moderate is something I like about Nostr. It takes a bit more work particularly at the outset but I find it rewarding. Having more advanced tools to self moderate will be helpful particularly as the protocol grows.

Maybe not to you, but there are some that see it this way
