Matthew K. 🧡 Always awesome.

running a bitcoin fullnode since 2017

well said put your energy into learning about the Bitcoin environment and as well how to secure your own stash instead of trading other crypto.

What’s wrong with running a node on raspberry pi? I wanted to get one…

Only about 100,000 sats away from my own node as the last thing missing is a 2TB ssd 💪

🙏 thank you anon 🥹

Are you just preparing for future with that size ssd? 'cause I ordered 500GB ssd for our homeschool project 😅

Well i think the actual size of the blockchain is about 700gb now? Maybe some noderunner can confirm?

Yes. Almost 700GB

🙏🫂💜

Thanks for answering. ✌🏼Now I still can return that smol ssd and order something bigger instead.

1tb would be enough, 2tb would be future proof

I’m not technical and am not curious about the software. Is there an easy a plug and play node?

Bought a whole new SSD just to set up my own node.

So I can do cool shit on lightning.

2 channels are enough for one day. #dox

Appreciate your work Matthew. As I increasingly understand the language I increasingly understand your tutorials.

Can you use an old laptop and hard drive to run a node?

This video was the final push i needed to switch from Core to Knots. I’d done the homework, but didn’t know if anyone had test driven it. Thanks nostr:npub1s33sw6y2p8kpz2t8avz5feu2n6yvfr6swykrnm2frletd7spnt5qew252p 🫡
