That's actually really cool. Closed source interoperability is very powerful indeed.
I understand the movement behind android. but the experiences on iPhone are unmatched in my opinion.
I just had an interview on a Mac Mini that doesn't have a camera. And it automatically asked me to use my iPhone as a camera..... and that was the highest quality video call I have ever made.

I'm putting all my eggs in the "OPEN source vertically-integrated stack" basket, personally.
We've only see closed source vertical integration/interoperability so far (Apple, etc.) but I believe in (and am building) a future that sees the same UX and power that vertical integration offers, but without the walled gardens.
I believe open interoperability will eventually win. Look at Linux. It's the #1 operating system in the world. We can follow a similar path with Nostr and Bitcoin.
