That's not fair. With any good application of science you also understand and question your foundations. You see this happening in physics now: there are a lot of competing ideas for emergence of gravity, dark matter and dark energy, because the prevailing ideas don't fully satisfy.
It’s not supposed to be fair but to be true. Which it is. Anecdotal evidence doesn’t invalidate this observation
