Me: it’s a Kansas thing.

Them: not used to nice Midwesternness… 🤔

I'm finding that people are getting less used to people thinking abiut them, and showing it through action. Even to the point of being suspicious when gifts are offered.

That’s the truth. It’s „nobody can help me” toxic individualism. Living in a silo. We need more community.
