I have encrypted data on the card. I’m not worried about that. I just need to know it’s being read from an authorized reader/app

That is impossible securely with NTAG

For context I have been working for smart cards for a year now.

Unfortunately it’s simply not possible. I’m currently pushing for more open smart cards and SEs in general, but it’ll take time.

In a few years this will change.
