They're trying to revoke green card status to someone who broke the law.

The law that was broken:

trespassing on private property.

leading a cult of terrorist worshippers to trespass on private property.

after holding the university hostage, when they didn't call the police right away - they negotiated to strong arm the entity into succumbing to their demands meanwhile trespassing...I think this constitutes black mail.

Also they haven't successfully deported this clown yet. He might get to stay unfortunately.
