Despite ban, guns per person may still be higher in Honduras, don't know. Also the people of Switzerland have vastly different history and temperament.

I looked up Edmonton vs. Houston once.
Edmonton A.B.has gun control. Same murder rate per 100k pop as Houston Tx.
Gun Control does not reduce crime.
Mental illness increases crime.
Sure these statements are emphatic but it's time to see the patterns.
Put it that way, I think I largely agree with you. Although a ban might have different results in, say, Switzerland than in Latin America (🇨🇭 may have relatively high suicide rates, dunno. Also not saying the Swiss should get rid of guns)
