It really annoys me how the Chinese operate. They have everything —materials, means of production, workforce. You'd think they have all the potential to create amazing things! But no, instead they take a Blackland razor, trace it poorly with a pencil, and immediately release three different types of knock-offs.

A more interesting question is why aren't they doing what you describe?

I think it's all about responsibility. Nobody wants to take responsibility for launching a new product there. The market is more interested in clones, as there is less risk in launching them. Moreover, they don't need to be protected within China itself.
