I’ll keep everyone updated on whether this hurts the sensor or not. I’ve taken many pictures of the sun before for certain shots and for film stuff and have never had any problem. And I also pointed my phone at it about 100 times during this eclipse and only gave it a little rest in between in case the focal point was causing heat damage. With as much of a perfectionist as I am I’ll watch for dead pixels or spots in my images. Then we can know for sure 😆
