I tried to start a new proton email just because. Using tor browser on the onion version it said no verification method available. Didn’t know what this meant but i couldn’t do anything

Tried out the not onion version and it got to email verification. Also said “we need human verification or google and apple will block us”. Essentially they want me to dox another email to set up this “privacy focused” email bc of the long dick of big tech i guess?

Anyway, thought that was lame. They do accept bitcoin btw but theb that makes me wonder why not just accept LNURL auth for hUmaN vEriFicaTion
