I filed a false alarm report with AVG, whose anti-virus software was incorrectly flagging nostr:npub155m2k8ml8sqn8w4dhh689vdv0t2twa8dgvkpnzfggxf4wfughjsq2cdcvg BTCPay.js library as Phishing malware. They have removed it from their list that triggers security alarms! LFG!

Nice work. πŸ€™πŸ»

Who still uses antivirus these days? 😬

Enough that 2 different people sent me screenshots of warnings when visiting my site.

I always found them more trouble than good.

They either did stuff without my permission and removed files I wanted, or they just churned my computer to a halt even when it was supposed to be idle.

They also had stupid popups that felt like malware themselves and I saw too many people fall for popups on websites designed to look like antivirus software and end up installing malware on their own computers.

I since realised I can look after my computer and it's data better than the antivirus.

Hey, nostr:npub1jdgclywl55wc4neey97de57jenghsseuh8njx6z5f2kdwsfvk5xqhd2mys,

Thanks for this!πŸ™πŸ˜ƒπŸ’œπŸ˜†πŸ‘
