I think perhaps the people here have a higher degree of posting vs just consuming, which makes it feel different. It's like YouTube in the early days when the video quality was bad but more authentic. Now, at least IG and YT feel to me if it's not 4k SLR quality people don't post they just scroll.

Yes. Also when the user base is huge, there is one same algorithm for everyone and the way to get seen even a bit is sucking up to algorithm ON REGULAR BASIS makes it not worth it by any means.
