They're not wrong, it is "about as racist" as I think.

Do they explain why that would seem racist to anyone?

"Well other cultures eat bugs so if you don't like it you're racist!"

That's pretty much the entire "argument."

Got it. Bummer for NPR's audience, who have to learn that they're racist for not wanting to eat bugs.

Luckily in my experience trying to change someone's views through shame isn't super effective especially after the media propaganda assault during Covid lockdowns

Sadly, I'm not sure that applies to NPR listeners.

The internet is like a "1984" memory hole except instead of a furnace destroying all evidence of somethings existence, it all lands neatly, categorized and accessible at the bottom of the shaft. Some things get scrubbed but so much is left...its incredible.

If anyone wants the truth, all that they need to do is look for it.

There is no escaping archive.org you can even feed it urls.
