Tell us about the donts.
Discussion
I was afraid to be rigid and bossy. So I said the minimum and the necessary.
I didn't specify what I wanted to happen or what I expected people to do.
This in the previous times and during ceremony.
I just said the minimum and necessary. Diet, intention, process.
But I realised people is really different and some people need further instructions and redundance.
One thing was the circle and place of each one of us around the fire. We must remain in the circle and preserve our place no matter what. And silence and respect for eachothers journeys.
It wasn't funny to go around the vast island locating people to check they were ok and safe.
Also, being redundant about being respectful for the forces of nature and the place we are using and accessing. For example one of the guys scared a herd of horses without even noticing and that was a message.
The guy was treading around with earphones..... Because I wasn't strict enough to prohibit such things. He didn't even noticed what he did but it could have ended really bad.
Imagine suddenly hear a stampede coming at you...
Don't leave the circle.
That would sum up.
Then of course one has to come clean, with a minimum diet and a clear intention.
Knowing that we are commiting audacities in spiritual realms and not being foolish or arrogant.
Earphones is a don't.
Food is a don't.
And I would say cannabis is another don't...
I never did cannabis but I wouldn't even dare to mix those two. I've seen people doing it and I don't think it helps
All in all, sounds like a dream job.
You get to see souls waking up.
Thanks! Yes, privilege and responsibility
Oh, I just hope it works. And I must confess the first time I did it I had a mixed feelings of helping and attaining power. Because being a leader of a tribe and those things.
Then in the journey itself the mushrooms cleansed my megalomaniac. I had to vomit it.
Such weight and responsibility being led by a power seeking monkey? The blind leading the blind...
Being a humble vehicle, a guardian, a doorway.... that would be good.
And luckily I am surrounded by people with even more experience and wisdom in plant medicine. Like older brothers.
They always have a compassionate look for me when I am drifting away.
I have had problems both being the megalomaniac and trying not to be it.
I suppose the key must be to always respect free will, no matter how big or small our dose of ego is at any given time.
Like not forcing anyone in any way, while firmly standing your ground when it comes to your own free will.
Clear boundaries.
