When you know where most of the "funding for farmers" goes you know that freezing these funds is a good thing.
Running a profitable business doesn't require subsidies. Produce something that people actually want to pay for.

Olives sold in oil are almost always sold in seed oil instead of the most obvious of just using the oil that oozes out of the olive when you pit them.
That is the kind of stupid food subsidies get you.
