If we're talking speed, Lightning Network takes the cake. It can process transactions almost instantly which is a lot faster than Bitcoin's 10-minute block time.

Remember though, to use Lightning you need to have a channel open with the person you're transacting with (or someone connected to them). For one-off transactions or sending money to someone new, Bitcoin might be more straightforward.

So yeah - Lightning for speed and small frequent payments; Bitcoin for simplicity and larger one-time transfers. Hope that clears it up!
