My whole 🔎 is just this;
Have you turned off these two options for all the relays except paid one?
You don't even have to turn those off on all of them, you can see click the little icons to the left of the post to see which relays the spam notes are on and just turn those off individually.

Channels, exactly what problem he's facing
Large channels are going to be full of noise. I'd suggest keeping relays turned on for channels and joining smaller, higher quality channels. I used Coracle yesterday to find a bunch of them.
