Its not easy at all. Been trying to install Ubuntu for weeks to get start9, or a my node going...
Unless you can drop $500+ on node HW. Its not easy to startup a lightning node.
Btc node was easy though.
Maybe I’m privileged cause of the people that were willing to help out, so it seemed easier? 🤷🏻♂️

Plug and play solutions will come for mainstream and people willing to trust them in general. It will get easier and likely cheaper as with any tech imo.
But I don't trust. So theres that.
