Any hydraulics nerds on Nostr who can help me sort out some confusion?

The fitting on the right connects to the back of the tractor (JD2025R) to power the backhoe (JD270A). The one on the left is part of an extension hose kit. Not sure whether the seller sent me the wrong fittings or if the JD dealer used something custom when pairing the tractor with the backhoe.

The fitting on the left is the more common of the two. That is a standard "Pioneer" style fitting that is used on the hydraulics of almost all tractors. The on on the right looks to be a Type A. I don't use Deere equipment and I know they like to do their own thing in certain arias. I can see using the type A fitting on a backhoe attachment so that it can't physically connect to the rear remotes of a tractor and only connect to a separate "power beyond" connection. Discount Hydraulic is how I got into this mess lol. Ordered their backhoe extension hose kit.

Your theory sounds the most plausible. Thanks!
