Would have been pretty ripe after a week. 😂
Just be thankful it wasn't chicken & that the meat & fish were still mainly solid.
Rotten chicken is the worst smell I can think of. One wiff & I'm involuntarily gagging.
It's so much slower removing a liquified mass of meat than when it's still largely solid.
Yeah I was lucky it was all in different plastic bags, that helped a bit, but also was a lot of ice that createad a mixed not identified soap of fish and meat, I discovered later also some cheese.. 🥲
I've wondered if in these situations whether it's better to turn the freezer back on to freeze that mess again first.
I hope I will never have the opportunity to try it a next time 😅
Yeah I just double checked my 2 big freezers are running 😂
Would be devastated if I lost one.
It would be cool to have a little device that plugs in between the wall & the freezer that beeps when it loses power.
Keep them always in check my fren ahahah
