I tried to keep it simple this time. I have too much of a tendency to go on and on... But the tradeoff is compactness is harder to process
Discussion
I am trying to run some things that I think are miraculous thru the proof. Is it implied that the "unobserved realities" may be #god?
*"Unobserved qualities of the real"
or if you prefer #tao and the meaning of that immediately should bring to mind #jesus who is the way
Yes, I believe that. But its multidimensional (meaning, axis, not universes) and I'm not satisfied with simply believing.
Maybe. Depends on which aspect of God you're looking for. Saying more than that is difficult because so much of it is your subjective experience, your own mutating relation with the ineffible. An unobserved reality could just be that matter behaves in different ways under different conditions. A hand phone is a miracle to anyone more than a century ago. But another unobserved reality emerges from consensus. Market interactions are value consensus, and that example proves the maxim of "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts." There's no telling what other mechanisms exist, without personal interaction.
The only part of God that I can confidently say I've interacted with is the holy spirit, or the tao. The spirit is called the helper for good reason - when you call on it, it responds. How can it be described in materialist terms? Idk. The first step is knowing that the map isn't the territory. That's a linguistic statement. Parts of the Bible seem to be a repeating pattern of people falling into idolatry, and God going all Ezekiel on them. Idolatry is the mistake of thinking the linguistic object in your mind is the thing itself. But its not. Everything (everything) you see is filtered through layers of interpretation, starting from the light reflected, to the eyes' interpretation, to the nerve transmission, to the decoding of the signal off the nerve, to the visible object representing it in your mind, to the spoken language you use to describe it - and only AFTER the linguistic recognition are you consciously aware of it. At every step is a chance to lose information. Skipping all these interpretive steps would involve direct sight of your spirit, which would be union with the wiggly world. So, I deduce that the path to direct sight is to deal in representative symbols first, so that the linguistic model in my mind can accommodate qualities that would be lost in all the lossy encryption and transformation along the path to "me."
