Hey Constant, Emotions are high at moment I just pray that come the 27th of dec people don’t cave and submit to the social media verification I pray that many of my fellow Aussies find a alternative platform’s to use and from what I’ve read Nostr seems like a good starting point !! I will not comply with the digital id roll out the Australian government are currently pushing

The clients/apps on Nostr have improved a lot, im just afraid at this stage there is still too much friction because its simply a different paradigm so there are all these things that are ultimately not too complicated, but will require people to wrap their heads around. And ofcourse the sheer number of users and the ability to connect with whatever is relevent to someone can be an issue.
As soon as numbers grow i guess both of those will because easier, simply because the friend or whatever pointing someone to Nostr can just onboard that person and point out things and explain some bits in an organic matter.
