Isn’t it weird how we’re always projecting the best image of ourselves and try to convince other that they should adopt our values and do things our way 🤔

Why? Why do we do this? Can’t we just mind our own lives?

Best advice ever 🫡

There we go with advice again 😂

Wtf did you want then?

And where’s my mouse? 🤣

🙄

It’s a fiat sickness, once you get completely out of its reach things change hehe

I think it's weird

Umhhhhh… If you think your values are universal, the fact that other dissent is a big problem. It would be enough to understand that we all have our personal, although shared, universe.

jomo > fomo

We are social beings by nature, we are feeding a very primal instinct.

(Yes, even we developers like you and me like to talk to people 😂😂)

I hope I can distance myself as far as possible from this behavior. I will probably fail many times though.

The simple fact is that we are talking here instead of privately (via DM) already demonstrates our most primal desire to be heard.

I don't see it as a bad thing, it is part of us, the important thing is to be aware of it as you said and try to keep our instincts at bay.

If you think about it, even the way we dress is a way to feed this need.

but if we deactivate all this 100% I think that we are inhibiting our own essence 🙂

Also trying to limit dressing up 😂

You missing a bunch of images here. Homeless ppl get to dress themselves up in whichever way they want whenever.

You dont know how many ppl actually got a job because they knew how to dress themselves.

Of course, we are just kidding 💜

Personal image (in all aspects) is necessary in our society. That's exactly what we are talking about, where is the healthy limit.

Yup! We want to be part of a group and then keep others out. Maybe a size exists that makes the group self sufficient.

Speak your mind. There is no reason to fear what others think of you.

I dont know I’ve made shit ton of mistakes, maybe I can tell some one what not to do 🤷🏼‍♂️

Or let them repeat your mistakes 😂

I mean their gonna do it anyway even if I tell them not to buy shitcoins. You just gotta learn for yourself.

I think its a very deeply interfaced experience that each brain experiences interdependent of every other brain. Then when these brains meet and feel the presence of the other we project outward varying forms of language (dress, speech, body language etc) in order to achieve a level of understanding of the other entity whatever it is.

Any form of that communication facilities a response of some sort to the inital action itself. So as were exchanging that communication whatever it was we decide for ourselves if communication or continued interaction with said thing is worth the effort of continuing doing so.

Alas at the same exact time such interactions you're speaking of in general ( trying to convince others of your worldview) is a way each individual battle tests its own worldview by epoxing its ideal world to others and seeing the haptic feesback it receives from others about how they feel/think/respond to said ideas. As when collect that information our said environment can form our thinking.

We are slaves to our idioligies

But if you look at it from a different angle - the information laid out there is now filtered by personal experiences of various people to bring you the best - and its up to you, what you want to absorb and ignore. So technically, you can adopt best practices way faster and become a stronger version of you. And ignore everything else

Human beings likely spent 90%+ of our timeline in tight knit tribal bands with shared values and pro group pro social behavior.

Basically we used to have 30 best friends who were always there for you and had the same values and we really really really really really really really really miss it.

And to be able to make compromises, very important for any relationship.
