Tybbs Top 3 Relays:

#1 nostr.wine

#2 relayable.org

#3 nostr21.com

πŸ₯‡ nostr.wine continues to hold down the top spot due to #[0] 's continued diligence and technical expertise. this ranking may change when it comes time I have to pay for the filter though.

πŸ₯ˆrelayable.org by #[1] takes second due to thei invite-only design and their high quality member list. in addition to having no downtime (to my knowledge), I continue to see high quality posts from this relay daily.

πŸ₯‰ nostr21.com, a fast up and coming relay by #[2] takes second place in just a day of use through Mr. Fodders use of 21 sat incentives and the quick accumulation of an active user base.

I have 21 active relays (including pineapplepizza) that these rankings were made from. I will continue to monitor the relays on my list and may post updated rankings in the future. Keep in mind these are purely subjective. Thanks for reading.

sorry, there's some typos in there. I'm tired. please forgive me. much love πŸ’–πŸ˜˜

nice πŸ‘€

do you rotate one at a time on clients to test them out, or what’s the process you use to rank them?

it's tough to rank relays without a bit of redundancy since a lot of actual functionality still depends on public relays in my experience. I went through and used each relay, with one or two public relays to keep things going, on amethyst and observed how my followed feed and global feed changed. I also tried several of them on gossip.

my main factor for analysis was looking at the posts on my global feed that I determined (arbitrarily) were high quality and noting which relays they came from. this means the relay's quality also depends on the user base of the relay, which is one of the most important aspects of a relay imo.

yeah right. I’ve experimented with a few and currently have 10 including the relayable one and purple.pages all setup. I like your idea of just going through one at a time. smart!

trying to clear out spam took me a while to figure out and that started my search for others.

have read about β€˜one day’ there being cool relays where users will congregate around particular topics or something so im really curious to watch how it plays out

Thank you for sharing 🫢🏻 I didn’t know the last 2.
