I've noted, with some approval, there are quite a few #leftwing views here. I'm sure our #rightwing and #freemarket fans here will argue with them, but remember it's having both sets that makes this platform special.

If they're driven out, this will be just another fake #freespeech #soapbox like #Gab, a site that blocks #TOR connections. We could be so much more than that. We can be the whole story, if we're welcoming.

Agreed. Having multiple views that balance one another should be the project. Otherwise, it's just an authoritarian chokehold wherever the "driving out" takes place.

Triangulating the values and concerns of different perspectives in order to solve problems and create affordances at scale is the definition of human society.

We lost sight of that at some point.
