I hope its a joke. If you bought $400 dollars worth of bitcoin and price dropped to 10k you didn't "lose" money, you protected $400 filthy fiat from deflation.
On a long enough timeline Bitcoin will always increase in value, because math.
Speculators usually lose their money. Good luck to you though, at least you didn't use leverage.
