Is #Bitcoin a right wing/conservative technology or is it apolitical?

Was debating this with a friend today who is very into politics and is getting into Bitcoin.

He argued that Bitcoin is inherently a right wing technology because it protects property rights and promotes free exchange.

This is hard to argue against but I believe it is completely apolitical and attractive to all ideologies but it reflects natural laws which can be seen today as “right wing”.
