PSA: Google services are not end-to-end encrypted. Google can read your private data without your knowledge and state actors can coerce them to do so. I’m moving off. So should you.

Some services are, most are not..Android Backups are for example. Apple iCloud has more e2e.

Good clarification. Yes, it’s not very clear which Google services are or aren’t without deeper investigation. Apple iCloud has more end-to-end encryption and has a better track record, but it’s now in question with the UK government secretly compelling Apple to disable it for their residents.
