IMO making resolutions in winter is counter productive.

This should be a time of deep hibernation and laying low.

Instead making lifestyle changes in spring (When the new year was in old calendars) makes more sense.

Spring is a time where there is a huge shift in energy with much more growth and sunlight.

Plus... spring cleaning, spring forward etc etc.

I do empathise with restaurants. Have to deal with the mad rush up to Christmas and then there's the stress of keeping people coming back in Jan when everyone is done with socialising.
