Jeez I dread these June/July farmers markets. Today is cool-ish, until I begin unloading 2 to 40 pounds of honey from out the back of my carā€¦then the face-melting commences.

Yeah the heat this time of year is rough! Even worse working with fresh vegetables, anything that goes to market ain't coming home whether it sells or not šŸ«

Many farmers just give stuff away to keep from hauling it home only to load it off onto the compost.

Exactly! Always happy for the fruits of our labors to be used rather than wasted. Also great way for us to get a loaf of bread, some cheese, etc in trade at the end of market rather than things ending up in the trash!
