REMINDER (PSA?): You can use NostrGram in single column mode if you don't like the "wall of notes" look. Just click the Twitter icon beneath the Note Editor at the top of the page.

I still see people who don't know this, thus the reminder.

What do you think about random tips poping up the first time you enter nostrgram? Subtle to not become something that mess woth the UX
That is my go to way to learn thing in programs I use on a regular basis, LibreOffices does that for example. The random nature make sure that at some point you've been informed of all the interesting tips 🤔
It's certainly something I need to do for the most used features. I also need a help section and a nice walkthrough video that highlights the big stuff.
Saw a question about ‘news’ come up. Any thought on a ‘news article’ filter showing just news that followers have shared? Or maybe anyone on nostr has shared?
What would identify a note as a "news" note?
Might be tricky, but first thought is to search for any links from the major news channels, but you would have to maintain a new list..
You could add a ‘check box’ to the note if it is news, but that might get intrusive..
Not exactly sure how, but would be a nice feed
Major news channels don't post news. They post propaganda. That said, it wouldn't be too difficult to let a user create their own custom list of domain names that constitute a feed of their own designation. It could be anything, including their favorite news sites.
I always use that but it doesn't save this as a preference.
More often than not I have to set it up again when I start Nostrland everyday.
Am I the only one?
Nostrgram of course.
King of typos is here! 🤭
Same for me.
