That’s sick! 🤙
So you can only use Trezor Suite for that feature, right? I’m assuming because it’s the coordinator?

I'm sure there will be third party apps that support Trezor coinjoins soon since it's all open source but it's a new beta feature so for now to do it while keeping your coins on the Trezor you need to use Trezor Suite.
Btw it uses the zkSNACKs coordinator rather than one run by Trezor!
Interesting. I’ve heard of that but I don’t know much about it. I’ve only had exposure to Whirlpool
Tbh I have mixed feelings about zkSNACKs. They've undoubtedly done good work but they're also behind Wasabi Wallet whose coinjoins have been broken by Chainalysis.
However simply using them as the coordinator seems like decent OPSEC to me since the joins themselves are obviously non-custodial and they are the biggest coinjoin provider so you get a strong anonymity set.
Ideally I'd like to see Joinmarket integration on Trezor too, then it can run off your own node and it's much more private in terms of resistance to blockchain analysis, but one step at a time!
Ya that’s really interesting. I’d imagine if you were to get your ₿ in a non-KYC manner, then those concerns wouldn’t be a problem? 🤔 Have you considered using the Whirlpool tools in Sparrow wallet? Not sure if you run your own node, but it may be worth looking into if you’re a privacy minded bitcoiner 🤷♂️
I do buy non-KYC coin but I'm a super privacy maxi basically. I want it to be as hard as possible to trace back my BTC even if it's from a non-KYC source.
I do run my own node but I don't have full trust in Samurai either, their app sends your xpub to their servers plus they have high fees they don't fully disclose.
I like the convenience of being able to just coinjoin in my Trezor wallet as well.
If I want a more hands on solution I'd just use Joinmarket with my own node. It's better than any coinjoin because it uses payjoin instead.
But right now the coinjoins are just one part of my overall process that also includes buying non-KYC coins and using anonymous exchanges to e.g. swap XMR for BTC.
