It is possible without spending money? I need a node right? Hard for most.
“Hard for most” maybe 6 months ago. Zeus just released on App Store with Zeus pay where the node is in your phone so you don’t need run a seperate node.
Is that not just opening a lightning channel like with phoenix? Or are they different? Im really new to it all so my wording may be wrong here.

What do you recommend? For all lightning outside of Nostr using lightning is very easy imho. But the LNURL need for Nostr is my tripping point. Haven’t found a great iOS option yet. Maybe need to try mutiny?
You should check out Zeus. Get on their test flight on their website to see the newest features of zeuspay. You can link your npub up and send and receive zaps via LNURL.
You use a custodial LN address too. It's better then WoS or Alby because the wallet backend is non-custodial, but the frontend address is still controlled by a central entity that could at any time change the address to point to any wallet. Completely ruggable and you wouldn't ever know.
