Yes this is one issue for me too.

Also a couple other UI items that I like with Damus, but in general I still access both albeit 99% of composition is done via Damus.

I mostly use Primal now to look up hashtags or npubs as I’m writing on Damus

I’ve tried Damus several times, but every time I deleted it, Imeven though it jas an ipad version I just don’t like it. I use the Primal “adapted” ipad version.

I use both hand in hand…some things Damus is better at and vice versus.

For example to zap I have to go to primal still and for hashtag research

I tried that, but each app accumulates a lot of data, I guess I’ll wait for a primal app, they’re almost perfect.

Hmmm it sure seems they do! Just checked and Damus is my highest storage at 6.6GB

Primal is under a gig but I use Damus more.

I wonder if the number of relays in use has anything to do with it…

I still have 66% of my phone storage available though so I’m not concerned about it

Yeah but it’s not about that, it’s not normal for them to accumulate so much data on the device.

Can you clarify? It’s not about what specifically?

What I meant is, some devices have a lot of storage to handle the size, but the point is that it’s not normal behavior for this type of app.
