I love Bisq.
However, I prefer Bisq 1. Much easier to use, organised, minimal, no noise.
I guess its just personal preference and what im accustomed to.
Bisq 2 stands out by offering users the flexibility to choose from various trade protocols. This will allow users to select a protocol that best aligns with their preferences.
Currently, Bisq Easy is the only implemented protocol. It is designed for novice Bitcoin users and is ideal for smaller trade amounts.

What am I missing with #bisq. P2P but using strike as the trade vehicle seemed bit counter kyc to me.
There are many payment options on Bisq.
Here in Canada Interac e-Transfer (emailing money from your bank account) is the easiest.
Only the receive knows your email address, nothing else.
There are also cash and gift card options.

It's normal that you prefer bisq 1, they're different things.
What you have now in bisq 1 (multisigtrading protocol) will be ported and improved to Bisq 2, which is an application made from scratch to offer modularity and provide more options.
It big-time depends as well on what you're after. Bisq2 probably is more accessible for new people to the space, but bisq1 is easier for those that have already learned it because theres fewer screens to navigate.

Bisq1 experience is less mainstream.
Mainstream experience feels gross.
