If you paid for digital media a la carte that your access to was later removed then I would support pirating it. Just because that has happened in the past does not justify pirating everything you want in perpetuity. There is also no expectation of ownership when subscribing to streaming services.

Exactly, but that is what I take issue with. When I spend my money on something I expect to have access to and otherwise be able to do whatever I wish with it. I'm fundamentally against the worldview that these companies are forcing on us.

Until that changes, I'll be downloading or buying hard copies thanks.
