If I wanted to be in an echo chamber I’d still be on bitcoin twitter. There’s arguably more diversity of thought here than over there.
Never had twitter, could not tell you the diversity. However, I’ve found some who like to question things here BUT it is very echoey on many things here. I haven’t heard much diversity at all on the many, many podcasts I listen to with you and everyone else. Any great idea will stand up to attacks and counter discussion…not much of that going on.
