In my experience the majority of people require an authority to tell them what to do. They find great comfort in the option to offload accountability.

If I wanted to be in an echo chamber Iād still be on bitcoin twitter. Thereās arguably more diversity of thought here than over there.
Never had twitter, could not tell you the diversity. However, Iāve found some who like to question things here BUT it is very echoey on many things here. I havenāt heard much diversity at all on the many, many podcasts I listen to with you and everyone else. Any great idea will stand up to attacks and counter discussionā¦not much of that going on.
