Perhaps this sounds strange but for many years I have watched the โ€œNew Years Resolutionistsโ€ go marching around my suburb for the first few months of the year (yes often until Feb) and while I know it wonโ€™t last I canโ€™t help admiring their resolve in doing it repeatedly, every year. So while I know it wonโ€™t last I keep the naive hope that this time perhaps theyโ€™ll succeed

Yes โ˜๐Ÿพโ˜๐Ÿพโ˜๐Ÿพโ˜๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐ŸŽฏ โ˜๐Ÿพโ˜๐Ÿพโ˜๐Ÿพ. I experience the same. I try to be encouraging, especially with those that matter to me. But until you make it your lifestyle, it's just a phase. A "New Year's Resolution" phase.

absolutely! It has to be a real lifestyle change rather than just a resolution. The โ€œwhyโ€ needs to be strong ๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿ’ฏx๐Ÿ’ฏ ya gotta be ๐Ÿ’ฏ resolved with your "why".๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿซ‚

My โ€œwhyโ€ turned out to be rather silly (to others) but so far it has stood strong compared to my previous attempts when I used more altruistic motivation ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

I'm in similar camp Catty. As long as you're being real w/yourself, it matters little how it looks/sounds to anyone else. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿซ‚
