Finding a raspberry pi 4 feels like an impossible task. Yeah I can get one for a 5x markup with a bunch of cheap ass unnecessary accessories, I don’t t think that is the route I wanna go. Being a #plebdad, I kinda need to keep my purchases smart.

If it's for running your own btc node, just use an older laptop.

I’m hopeful that they get more stock and fix production issues within the next few months. [INSERT BIG UNEXPECTED EVENT HERE] could throw things off again though.

You and me both! I get supply and demand, but god damn, they are selling at a ridiculous markup.

My son helped me build my pi.

Really? That’s awesome. So it’s a custom build? That’s a little out of my scope, but interesting nonetheless, you running a node on it?

No, sorry - should’ve have been more clear. Simply helped me assemble the casing, hook up the fan, connect the external drive, etc. It’s running Umbrel.

That’s what I want to do, but can’t find a raspberry pi 4 anywhere. Lol I have a 3, and I think I might try to use that, just don’t want to waste my time with it if it doesn’t work. Would rather just have the 4, knowing it’ll work.
