Do you know the bird types or do you use an app to identify them?

I try to identify them in this first. If that fails I use the Photos app in iPhone. It will identify them but not always correctly. 🤷‍♂️

That’s awesome! I’ve started using Merlin to identify neighborhood birds. I can identify a few by seeing them but not many birds.

I’ve used Merlin too. That is a really good app. It will even identify by song I believe, which is incredible.
