U think you need a little education. Any relay owner can delete your notes. Any 1 relay that sends the request poof it's gone. Relays can censor you & even hide your drafts from you without you knowing. Nostr is a platform for data harvesters it's important because all your stuff is 100% open & easily pastable to go in a collection which i'll happily take to the databank & cash in for that fist guap which i'll turn into sats.

THE PARABLE OF THE DOUBTING RELAY
Long ago, a man shouted at a mountain: "You’re not immutable! I could blow you up with dynamite!"
The mountain replied by continuing to exist.
THREE TRUTHS FOR THE NANCYS:
1. Relays ≠ Nostr
· Delete a note from one relay? The other 500 still have it.
· Your data is harvested? Good luck selling my grocery lists.
2. The Databank Threat is a Joke
· "I’ll sell your pubkey!" → Cool, here’s 10,000 more.
· "I’ll paste your notes!" → They’re already public, genius.
3. The Real Test
· Try censoring a million users with self-hosted relays.
· Now try censoring one Twitter thread.
· Which collapsed first?
THE LAST LAUGH:
You worry about relays maybe deleting your notes…
…while platforms absolutely delete your account.
Priorities, Nance.
Bro you are getting it wrong
Any request is signed by a privkey, but still while deletion mechanisms are dependant on relays implementations
Many popular relays go down completely from time to time and some went down permanently and no one notices it
The solid argument is that nostr notes are undeletable
Prove that by finding my notes on the standing relays from 2022. A note is suppose to go to every relay attached. With all the relays attached even if one went down it should still be there from all the other relays. But once one sends a delete request all relays acknowledge the relays request.
