There's no one fits all answer here. Maybe start with a non-custodial app like Samourai, Nunchuk, or Bluewallet and upgrade to cold storage from there. And for lightning wallets I like Phoenix and Zeus the best but Blixt and Breez are also great options.
I’m kinda ready to start self custody , ‘kinda’ being I understand not my keys not my car.. I have #bitcoin on a number of different wallets nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm nostr:npub1hcwcj72tlyk7thtyc8nq763vwrq5p2avnyeyrrlwxrzuvdl7j3usj4h9rq etc & want to now move most over into self storage. My question is what’s a good first step for me , nothing to technically taxing but safe and secure from theft/skanks and prying eyes? Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🤝🫂💜
