So what you're saying is the news isn't reliable? I'm going to have to digest this over the coming weeks and months. I'm glad tho' that you got your plan in place, I know that must have been a lot of stress

No, there is always truth, even in legacy media, but I think the Compton metaphor is apt here.

If there are riots in London, I'm not there. If there is poverty due to inflation, I'm not there. If there are laws that disadvantage me, nobodys trying to force me to follow them.

For the most part the UK and most countries who are reported as struggling is exaggerated and applied as if it's a single entity.

You missed my sarcasm, but I'm with you. All we can do is control ourselves and our immediate context and build good shit. My firm is an exemplar of this. We're hedge for down times and up times and are spending shitloads of money on culture building consultants and what not so that we can grow the firm and maintain its cultural identity which from our perspective is our competitive moat.

ish......

I decided to go serious because I thought the point I was making was important.

Agreed, plan for the bad times during the good times and focus on yourself and your immediate surroundings.

I'll get back to stupid shitposting now.

Have a great day 🫂

I like Bourbon Mike, Beer Mike is good too, but my most treasured interactions are those dark nights with dark liquor and candid serious conversations.

Are you saying I drink too much? 😳

No, but I figured you'd get my meaning. I don't know you well enough and if I did I wouldn't say it on Nostr

Phew 😅

I think you can know somebody very well after a while interacting with their npub.

I think you're a decent chap, a Britishism, meaning "I love you bro".

I literally have to repaste your posts to remove unnecessary 'u's and replace 's's with 'z's to understand you so thank you for the translation. I love you too.

😂

Bloody English English.
