This might be our next big feature. The ability to spend while offline with a preloaded budget.
Thoughts? Would you use this? The biggest hurdle would be that you can't spend the sats you preloaded normally. You would have to refund them back into your wallet. And keep reloading as you draw down the balance.

I think a group chat style payment feature on Mutiny would be useful.
An invoice is created, anyone who pays it is added to the group chat; then either determined by the creator of the invoice or by vote, a payment is distributed.
For example, 5 buddies each want to bet 10k sats on a disc golf round, winner take all, second place gets their money back. They all are sent a invoice to pay, creating the group chat on Mutiny. After the disc golf round, the payment distribution is made to the winner and second place.
My pals are always betting on small shit and we would use this almost everyday.
Idk, maybe I would use this in a place like El Salvador, but even there I was able to make almost all transactions happen with marginal cell coverage
Cant you lock up funds by associating with someone elses npub? Doesnt this alone give us offline payments?
